Hab 2:2 “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Hab 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2: 2-3
If there is one principal that the secular world has taken and made different iterations of – it is this one!
Hab 2:2 “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
The secular world calls them vision boards, story boards, and many other things. We have seen it here, however, that this principal is over 2,000 years old and is in fact, an instruction from the Lord. When the Lord speaks of things you should do, it is going to have a positive impact on your life. It doesn’t mean that it is a magic pill or magic action that will make your vision come true immediately, in fact, He says,
Hab 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time
Don’t fret. It isn’t bad news. It just means you have to persevere, and the great news, is that you have God to help you during your time of perseverance. There are times in your life surely, when you have had those moments when the goal you are working towards seems like it is not going to come to fruition, but God knows this is what happens during arduous journeys, and as such, says these words also,
Hab 2:3 “wait for it; because it will surely come
Things won’t always be easy, but when they are hard and you walk with God, it will surely come.
