Have you tried executing what you learn?

We always try our best to bring forth knowledge out of the Holy Bible here at Sharper Words and we hope that you have learned from what have done so far.  But I do want to take this moment here at the end of our first year to break, and remind you to reflect on what you learn from the Holy Scriptures.

What have you learned that you can add to your practical usage, what is a theological asset, and so forth as you organize your thoughts into categories.

Now that you have reflected and organized what you have learned, the next question to consider is whether you have implemented the one thing you have learned or zero of the ten things you have learned.  Remember, if you only learned a single thing this year but have implemented it into your life, you are better off than the person who has learned 10 things and implemented none of it.  They are not better off in any way.

Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Jas 1:23  For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

Jas 1:24  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

James 1: 22-24

Therefore, don’t worry about whether you learn a lot or not, but make sure that you implement one thing at a time, that in such a way, you will not be just a hearer of the word, but a doer of the word.

So what is the one thing you will start to implement that you have learned here?
