How deep are your words?

Pro 18:4  The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.

— Proverbs 18:4

Yes, that is deep.  No pun intended.

So much of what a person says directs where they will go in life.  Will they rise to the top or sink to the bottom? Will they inspire people or discourage people? Are they helpful?

If you analyze closely what goes on in our daily lives, so much of it is dependent on our words.  If you say the right words, you can go on that first date, make the big sale, or get married.  If you say the wrong words, a person can end up in jail, start a fight, or bring despair to someone in need.  As a result, the words of a man’s mouth truly are like deep waters, because the possibilities of what we can say are  limitless, therefore, the results of our words are equally limitless.

Consider, that we are made in God’s image and have been given much of the same power and responsibilities – for instance – our words.  In the Book of Genesis, God created the world by SPEAKING WORDS.  Consider, that every single humans have created have started out as – WORDS.

Sharpen your words with the Word of God, found in the Holy Bible.  Become connected with God by reading what He SPOKE to His apostles, prophets, and disciples. SPEAK to God everyday in prayer. Use these WORDS which are wisdom as a flowing brook, to become holy, to inspire people, to lead your family, attain good health, favour, good standing, wisdom, and to achieve the desires of your heart.
